Packed up the cars with tables, chairs and a record player. 87 degrees and a slight breeze, slight rain talk, brushed a couple horses then took a break with a couple slices from Fishhawk. The Levi's Type I jacket, was introduced in the 1930s and is known for its iconic design and rugged denim construction. It features a boxy fit, pleated front, a single chest pocket and a cinch back.
This original design has become a symbol of vintage Americana and has influenced countless designs over the years.
While the "camp collar" refers to the relaxed, notched collar style commonly seen on Cuban guayaberas and some vintage casualwear. This collar style gives the design a laid-back and casual feel compared to the traditional collar of the Type I. The Apollo camp collar incorporates contemporary design elements, while retaining key elements from the original Type I that make it recognizable.
